Introduction to Operations Analysis Training
In order to develop
and determine the effectiveness of government and
industry policies and decisions, personnel within these
organizations need to be familiar with and knowledgeable
of Operations Analysis. Additionally, it is advantageous
for personnel involved in oversight of these programs
and policies to possess a working level knowledge of
analytical tools.
In order to address this need, VHO
offers an introductory course in Operations Analysis and
analytical tools. This course provides a tutorial with
relevant problems and examples that address issues
pertinent to specific organizations. The OA course
provides a working level knowledge of commonly used
analytical processes. Integrated within the curriculum
is a "primer" demonstrating the use of Microsoft Excel
in a range of applications in support of Operations
Analysis.
Modules include: Introduction to
Analysis, Probability Theory, Basic Statistical Methods,
Basic Analytical Tools, Applied Analytical Tools,
Practical Methods and Statistical Methods II.
